Photogrammetry is the science, art and technology for obtaining geometric information on the 3D format and orientation of objects from images and other related imaging sensors. Behind that, textural information and geophysical quantities may be extracted. In our group, we especially focus on digital images, lasers, and point clouds.

These images and datasets are acquired from airborne, space borne and terrestrial platforms, using photogrammetric and digital cameras, UAV's as well as laser scanners.

By investigating the new techniques in measurement process, suitable radiometric and geometric calibration methods are proposed and developed. Therefore, new high quality of geo-data is obtained by photogrammetry procedures. Afterward, 2D and 3D models of our environment are reconstructed automatically. This method is seen as main prerequisite for successful application of Earth Observation (EO) in hydrology, forestry, topography and related sciences which are studied together with experiences and experts in photogrammetry fields

Members of photogrammetric group in school of surveying and geospatial engineering have wide range of experience and expertise in all related field, including research projects, national projects, consulting and monitoring in various institutions and developing photogrammetry software solutions that inevitable part of any comprehensive projects. For details list of experience of our group please see the blow:
