• Relation with Industry

The relationship between industry and academia is the topic of the day in the country's universities. The Faculty of Surveying and Spatial Information Engineering, University of Tehran, has considered the following issues by establishing an industry relations working group:

• Development of applied research
• Development of basic research
• Development of technology transfer infrastructure
• Financial support for postgraduate dissertations
• Introducing students to industrial units
• Internship
• Memoranda of Understanding

It has also taken effective steps to strengthen its relationship with industry through active industry-related research centers, including the Spatial Information Technology Research Institute, the Institute for the Development of Science, Applications and Space Technology, and the Center for Surveying and Natural Disaster Engineering.
