Attention: Graduate Students, Young Researchers, and Interested Professionals

Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (SPbPU) is organizing the Third International Competition for Student Projects and Young Researchers, titled "SMART CITY 2030: Sustainable Urban Development Management in BRICS Member Countries."

This competition is designed to identify and support innovative ideas and projects aimed at addressing urban challenges and achieving sustainable development in the cities of BRICS member countries.

Target Audience:

• Graduate students

• Young researchers

• Professionals and practitioners up to 35 years of age

Participation in the competition is possible individually or in teams of up to five members.

Main Themes of the Competition:

Proposed projects must address a specific urban challenge in one of the cities of BRICS member countries and be presented within one of the following themes:

• Smart and creative urban development

• Creating safe, sustainable, and livable urban environments

• Smart city technologies and services

• Energy and transportation infrastructure

Conditions and Requirements for Participation:

Projects must:

• Identify and articulate a specific urban challenge or problem;

• Offer an innovative and practical solution to address the problem;

• Be aligned with sustainable urban development goals and smart city approaches;

• Focus on one of the cities in BRICS member countries;

• Be submitted by an individual or a team of up to five members.

۱۰ سپتامبر ۲۰۲۶ برابر با ۱۹ شهريور ۱۴۰۵

مرحله نهايي مسابقه

مرحله بين‌المللي نهايي و مراسم اهداي جوايز در تاريخ ۵ و ۶ اكتبر ۲۰۲۶ در شهر مسكو و در چارچوب Tech Science Forum 2026 برگزار خواهد شد.

اين رويداد به‌صورت تركيبي (حضوري و مجازي) برگزار مي‌شود.

فرصت‌هاي جانبي براي دانشگاهيان

همزمان با برگزاري برنامه‌هاي مسكو، فرصت‌هاي ديگري نيز براي حضور و مشاركت دانشگاه‌ها و پژوهشگران فراهم است:

۱. Tech Science Forum 2026
دانشگاه‌ها مي‌توانند به‌عنوان سخنران در اين رويداد مشاركت كنند. متقاضيان بايد براي اطلاع از مهلت ثبت‌نام و شرايط مشاركت، مستقيماً با كميته برگزاركننده همايش تماس بگيرند.

۲. BRICS Women Scientists’ Alliance (BWSA)
دانشگاه‌ها و متخصصان مي‌توانند به‌عنوان سخنران در برنامه‌ها و ابتكارات اين ائتلاف مشاركت كنند. اطلاعات مربوط به مهلت درخواست و شرايط حضور از طريق كميته برگزاركننده قابل دريافت است.

۳. جايزه بين‌المللي BRICS+ «زنان در علم و فناوري»
دانشگاه‌ها مي‌توانند يك پژوهشگر، استاد، كارآفرين حوزه فناوري يا مدير برجسته يك پروژه علمي / آموزشي زن را براي دريافت اين جايزه معرفي كنند.
