Centre of Excellence in Architectural Technology (CEAT)

The general objectives of this pole can be stated in the direction of the following axes:

  • Expand research in the field of surveying engineering and its application in dealing with natural disasters in the country by identifying relevant scientific and professional capabilities in the country and directing scattered scientific efforts and actions to develop a comprehensive surveillance strategy to deal with accidents and disasters normal
  • Expanding national and international relations and interdisciplinary in order to deal with natural disasters and establish a national network of surveying engineering and dealing with natural disasters and connecting it to similar international networks for scientific exchanges and gaining the latest experiences in the field of map engineering Vector in the face of natural disasters.
  • Establishment of application systems, software and hardware, as well as development of algorithms in surveying engineering with the aim of assisting crisis engineering in dealing with accidents
  • Strengthening the scientific and equipment activities of the Surveying Engineering Group and other similarly talented scientific groups by creating short-term and long-term training courses related to the goals of the pole
  • Holding specialized workshops and periodic and interdisciplinary conferences on pole goals.

In short, this scientific hub has considered its goal to create scientific and applied development in the field of surveying engineering and dealing with natural disasters, and in this regard, it has so far proved this goal in practice by accepting research projects outside the Faculty of Engineering and the University of Tehran.
