The Reference Laboratory for Geospatial Data Governance and GeoAI, as one of the specialized and pioneering centers in the field of geospatial sciences and technologies, operates with the aim of developing, governing, and applying geospatial data and artificial intelligence applications in this domain. This laboratory provides a suitable platform for researchers, faculty members, and graduate students to conduct research and development in emerging fields related to spatial data.

• Geospatial Data Governance: Including policymaking, management, standardization, quality assessment, and sharing of spatial data

• Spatial Big Data: Storage, processing, and analysis of massive spatial data
• Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI): Design and implementation of national and regional spatial data infrastructures
