Objectives of the laboratory:

Smart Remote Sensing Data Analysis Laboratory

The Smart Remote Sensing Data Analysis Laboratory will be established with the aim of generating technical knowledge and creating a suitable processing infrastructure for machine learning, pattern recognition, and spatial data analysis. Given the lack of an equipped laboratory to meet the needs of students for research in the fields of machine learning, pattern recognition, and spatial data analysis within the faculty, the necessity for this laboratory has been recognized. The objectives of this laboratory include:

  • Generating up-to-date technical knowledge in the fields of machine learning, pattern recognition, and spatial data analysis.
  • Providing supplementary training to improve the quality of research in machine learning, pattern recognition, and spatial data analysis.
  • Creating a suitable processing infrastructure to enhance the quality of research in machine learning, pattern recognition, and spatial data analysis.
  • Utilizing the experiences of international faculty members to produce educational content.

Additionally, the following activities will be carried out in this laboratory:

  • Production of technical content by faculty members of the core research laboratory.
  • Providing a suitable space for processing spatial data for students and researchers.
  • Offering appropriate storage space for spatial data.
  • Developing software related to spatial data processing.
